Komal Devi

Trade Waste Officer Representative, Board Member

Komal Devi is the Trade Waste Officer for South Taranaki District Council. She works alongside trade waste dischargers in the area to ensure that all aspects of their trade waste discharges are managed correctly.

Komal has an Environmental Science degree from the University of the South Pacific. Before taking up her role at South Taranaki DC she worked for 10 years as the Team Leader in the Trade Waste and Environment department at the Water Authority of Fiji, (Fiji’s only water utility).

Komal is currently studying for her Masters in Environment Management from Lincoln University and is a member of the Institute of Environment for Australia and New Zealand.
